Get to know me
I'm Michelle, a Registered Nurse with over 25 years of experience in clinical healthcare. Nursing has always been the foundation of how I work, and it is the foundation of this practice.
I moved into aesthetic medicine because I wanted to combine that clinical background with something I am genuinely passionate about: helping people feel confident in their own skin.
I chose to practise under my own name because I want my clients to know exactly who they are trusting with their care. There is no large team, no rotating practitioners and no guesswork about who you will see. It is just me, and a clinical approach built on honesty, education and genuine relationships with the people I treat.
My Approach
Every appointment starts with a real conversation. Before any treatment is discussed, I take the time to understand your concerns, your health history and what you are hoping to achieve. Some clients come in with a clear idea of what they want. Others are not sure where to start. Both are welcome.
Treatment recommendations are based on individual suitability, not preference or upselling. If something is not appropriate for you, I will say so. My role is to help you make informed decisions about your own care, at your own pace, with no pressure either way.
My approach favours conservative, considered treatment planning. Individual results vary, and all outcomes are discussed honestly at consultation, including what can and cannot realistically be achieved.
Clinical Setting
Nurse Michelle Aesthetics operates within Shades Dermatology, a doctor-led dermatology clinic. This means your treatments take place in a properly supervised clinical environment, with medical oversight where required. Cosmetic medicines are prescription-only treatments, and all prescribing is managed appropriately within this clinical structure.
A Personal Note
Outside the clinic, what matters most to me is the same thing that matters most in my work: genuine connection. I believe good care comes from really listening to people, and that is something I try to bring to every single consultation.
If you are considering treatment and want an honest conversation about what is right for you, I would love to meet you.
